Visitor's Guide to St. Charles Christmas Traditions

Las Posadas is Saturday, December 6th at 6:00pm

uring the day from 11:00am to 5:00pm the normal Saturday Festival takes place.

Later that evening at 6:00pm a beautiful re-enactment of the Spanish tradition of Las Posadas finds Mary and Joseph looking for shelter as they process down South Main Street with thousands of visitors carrying luminaries and singing carols.

Culminating in Frontier Park, there is a re-telling of the Christmas Story in narrative and song, the St. Charles Christmas Tree is lit, and Christmas Carols are sung around the Yule Log bonfire.
